Timothy Alan Ezell passed away on Monday, September 7th, 2020 at home. Timmy was born on July 9, 1954 to Betty Ruth Ezell and Thomas Virgil Ezell in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Terry Ezell. Timmy was employed for many years at American Coolair and retired from Florida Hardware. He was an avid football fan that loved his Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars. He also loved NASCAR racing and attended the Firecracker 400 for many years in Daytona. He and his dad Buddy and brother Terry were regulars at the old Jax Speedway track in his teenage years. Timmy loved his family and was a loyal friend to many. He learned to cook from his Dad at an early age at the family business, Ezell’s Bar-b-que. He was a master on the bar-b-que grill and smoker and always volunteered to cook for his family and friends. He took exceptional care of his mother Betty until his death. In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister Tammy Poweski (David), niece, Ashley Ezell Steedley (Billy), great niece and nephew, Hayven and Jeremy. He is also survived by two aunts and numerous cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held, Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 with Rev. Tim McDaniel officiating.
