Stewart Irving Neal, son of the late Mansfield and Adeliade Neal, was born June 10, 1940, in Washington, D.C. Stewart proudly served in the United States Air Force for 29 years and achieved the rank of Chief Master Sargent. He also had a passion for singing and was a member of the Arlington Methodist Church Choir and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. He loved his family, church, and was adored by many friends. On Friday September 10, 2021, his noble spirit took wings and broke away to be with his maker. He will be missed, and no one could take his place, but we know our loss is Heaven’s gain. He leaves to morn his loss, his 3 brothers, Mansfield (Cheryl) Neal Jr. of Martha’s Vineyard, MA, Charles Neal of Washington, D.C., Kenneth Neal of Jacksonville, FL, son, Richard (Diane) Neal of Destin, FL, 2 daughters Diane Stewart of Omaha, NE, Valorie Neal of Charleston, SC, 2 stepdaughters, Linda Woods of Taos, NM, Deborah Barber of Moreno Valley, CA, 2 stepsons, Darryel (Ernestine) Morrow of Houston, TX, Ronald Barber of Jacksonville, FL grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and hosts of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 4 P.M. in Fraser Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Arlinda Burks presiding. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will be Tuesday September 21, in Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Diabetes Association.
