I had the pleasure of working with Becci and enjoyed watching her interact with students in grades Pre-K to 6th. It didn’t matter what age or what obstacles the child faced Becci was always able to reach them in some way. She developed relationships that were kind, nurturing, and substantial with kids that desperately needed it. She will be remembered by her students and they will some day treat others with the same compassion she was able to show them.

Such sad news. She was a wonderful person and so sweet to me during our time working together at Coppergate.

Becci & I worked together when she first came to Coppergate last year. I don’t think she quite knew what she was getting herself into when she accepted the job! She settled in nicely & the kids LOVED her! She was a hard worker who was tough but kind to the students. The respecter her immensely. She was placed in a different classroom this year, so we didn’t get to work together, but she will be sorely missed.

My dearest Becci; I’m remembering the precious conversations we’ve had over the last few months. I hope that as a result; you finally understood how much I love you. If you did not; then I’m confident that now; after you’ve experienced the healing power of Gods love; that you fully know how much you were loved despite the pain that you experienced in your lifetime. I had the chance to tell you that I know without a doubt that God brought you into our lives so many years ago. We experienced some good times together; camping in Grandma Jeans backyard, exploring Disney World, long family drives singing along with Don Francisco, and special days off of school to just do your favorite things. And there were painful times, too. We talked about all of those. We didn’t understand how quickly those days were coming to an end. I’m proud that you found the country life that you loved; that you raised a wonderful son who you adored; and took care of 3 dogs that meant the world to you. You found jobs that brought you into contact with so many people that you enjoyed; and who loved you way more than you knew. And you became friends with your sisters. And you were learning to love yourself; again despite the pain you’ve gone through. You were learning to forgive; but most important; you had learned that God would not leave you or forsake you. And now you are forever in his care; just beginning to experience the wonders of his love. So as difficult as it is; I will say goodbye for now and release you into his care; as I know that he is always faithful ❤️

A beautiful soul who genuinely cared for all of the PBS students at Coppergate Elementary. We are heartbroken for all who knew and loved her. Becky was a kind, gentle, mother to many who needed her. We pray for comfort and strength for her family and friends as God welcomes a new angel❤
