Patricia A. Dyer “Patsy” December 7, 1960 – February 10, 2022
Patricia Allison LeClair Dyer, 61, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2022.
Patsy was born on December 7, 1960 to Sherman and Patricia LeClair in Jacksonville, Florida. She grew up in Jacksonville. She met her beloved husband Rusty in kindergarten and they began dating in 1975. They married May 10, 1980 and loved and laughed together for 41 years of marriage. She has two adored children Nickolas and Laura. She has two cherished grandchildren Corbin and Aubrey. Her family was her entire world and she loved them so deeply.
She worked most notably for UPS and the Teamsters Union. She was actively involved at Lakeshore Athletic Association influencing, encouraging and supporting young athletes for many years.
Patsy and Rusty loved to travel, going on many trips and cruises together; spending time at the beach, party planning; sewing, gardening, music and singing and spending time with family and friends. Patsy loved people and was always helping someone, whether it was being a mentor, surrogate mother, giving counsel and encouragement or just sending a thoughtful gift. She was altruistic and humble; she would do anything for anyone and never wanted to accept anything in return. She was silly and full of whimsy. She always had a fun new game to play or craft to do together and the sillier and more fun, the better.
Patsy will be remembered fondly by husband Rusty, children Nickolas, Laura and husband Jamie, her grandchildren Corbin and Aubrey, her mother Patricia LeClair and brother Murray LeClair and husband Michael. She also has many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and friends who will love and miss her.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held at Fraser Funeral Home 8168 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32221 on Wednesday February 16, 2022. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm. A reception will be held at the Teamsters Local 512 1210 Lane Ave. N. Jacksonville, FL 32254 following the service.

I just found out today that Patricia passed away. My heart is so sad ????. I asked about her today because I had not seen her in awhile. I am a teller at Wells Fargo and will miss all the times she came into the drive thru with a pleasant hello and smile. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Rest with God Patricia ????????

Thank you to you and Rusty for taking me and Melody on all your dates. Thank you for teaching us how to skip school (starting in junior high) and teaching me how to forge a school return note and ride around all day eating Wendy’s fries and frosty’s. Those were some of the best days of my life.

The first time that I ever met Patsy was over 17 years ago and she greeted me with open arms and a beautiful smile. Patsy made me feel welcome. Patsy and her family welcomed me into the family when I married Murray, and I have always felt loved and welcomed. You have left the Earth, but you will always be in my heart, and I am glad our paths crossed.

Patsy was an amazing lady with such a giving heart. Although she didn’t hold the title technically, she was the “BOSS” and kept us all going. I could never get enough of the stories she shared while sitting in her office. You were sure to get a good gut laugh from them. I am jealous that I didn’t get to spend all the years the others in the office got to share with her. However, I will treasure the last 4 years that I was so blessed to work alongside her. You are greatly missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
