Clinton Jackson Witt, 63, passed away on Friday May 19th, 2023 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida where he has lived the last 40 plus years. He was a wonderful Husband, amazing Dad, Papa, Grandaddy, Uncle, brother and Friend. He loved his family, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Lillian Jones and Father A.C. Witt and two brothers Gary and Andrew Witt. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Melodie Mobley Witt: daughters Jennifer Wright (Robert) and son Chris Mobley. Brothers James Witt and Sister Martha Smith. 6 Grandchildren; Gabriella, Morgan, Maverick, Kirsty, Devin, Victoria and 4 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at West Normandy Baptist Church on June 17th from 12 pm to 2 pm 8728 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32221.
Meat, chips and drinks will be provided! Covered dishes and desserts are welcome. Please bring your favorite photo of Jack with you for the family please.

Uncle Jack was the best male role model I’ve ever had. He was a man whose heart knew love, family, loyalty, and courage. As a kid I always looked up to him. He’d take me out to Oceola to hunt and to the river to fish. He was one of the nicest and most polite people I’ve ever been proud to know. He’d give the shirt off his back for anyone and I’ll always have his memory in my heart. Uncle Jack is more than half the reason I’m the man, husband, and father I am today and I can never thank him enough for everything he’s done and taught me. I’ll love him until the end of times.
