Clara Louise Whittaker, age 85, Passed away April 20, 2023. Clara was born in Pembroke, GA on April 28, 1937 to the parents of Ernest Bacon Sr. and Eva Mae Bacon. Clara was a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church for many years. She loved the Lord and she would always tell people to serve him. It goes without saying, that she loved her family dearly and will be missed by all of us, until we meet again in our Heavenly Home. Clara truly loved all of her pets as well.
Clara was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald S. Kimbrell, her second husband, Charles Whittaker, a son, Richard M. Kimbrell, a grandson, Kevin W. Kimbrell, her parents, Ernest Bacon Sr, and Eva Mae Moore, her two sisters, Mary Flowers and Frieba Armstrong and her brother, Ernest Bacon, Jr..
She is survived by her Son, Danny Kimbrell , daughter-in-laws, Cheryll Kimbrell and Michelle Koester (Robert), her grandchildren, Jason Kimbrell, Logan Kimbrell (Mikki) and Hannah Dryden (Zachary); her great grandchildren, Tinley and Landon Dryden, Ryleigh, Steven and Madelyn Kimbrell, sister-in-laws; Martha Kimbrell and Vera Fink (Richard). She is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32221 with Rev. Ray Mayfield officiating followed by interment in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 800 Hammond Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32221. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 11:30AM – 1:00pm.
