Brenda Dolores Paulk (Nanny), went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2023. Brenda was born on March 29,1946 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Tally Clen Moore and Hazel Dolores Moore. Brenda is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, and her in-laws Grady and Ruby Paulk.
Brenda is survived by her husband, the love of her life for 58 years, Kenneth Paulk, her three children, Kimberly Coleman (Robbie), Ronda Salazar, and Ken Paulk (Kelly),
her loving sister Rebecca McGinley (Larry), and two brothers Wayne Moore (Vicki) and John Moore (Jackie). Additionally, Nanny is survived by her eight grandchildren, Josh Coleman, Jacob Coleman, Brandon Salazar, Bradley Salazar (Paige), Brady Salazar, Quinton Sterling, Abbey Bosque (Jo’el) and Anna Paulk; three great-grandchildren, Gage Coleman, Paisley Salazar and Asher Bosque; bonus granddaughter Carmen Tubberville, loving Aunt Gretchen Bilger and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and faithful life-long friends.
Since the 1980’s, Brenda was a member of Old Plank Road Baptist Church and she dearly loved her church family. She was known for her relationship with Jesus and her love for Him. Brenda was also known for her close relationships and love for family and friends. She truly loved to make people look good and feel better about themselves with her cosmetology skills! She loved decorating the church and was very meticulous in decorating and putting together the beautiful Heaven scene for the Tribulation House. She truly loved with all her heart. She will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Old Plank Road Baptist Church, 8964 Old Plank Road Jacksonville, Fl 32220. Funeral services will also be held at Old Plank Road Baptist Church on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating. Interment to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

I was a friend of Brendas for 30 years.We shared a lot of our time shopping,decorating,and just being together.I miss her so much.She will always be in my heart,and thoughts.I pray each day for her family. I will see you again one day my friend. I love you forever.
