Phyllis Joanne (Cox) Tatham, 84, passed away on December 13, 2022. Phyllis was born May 22, 1938 in Macclenny, Florida. She married Ernest Tatham on August 31, 1957.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and youngest son, Michael. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ernest, two sons Danny (Kathy) and David (Peggy), one granddaughter, five grandsons and nine great-grandchildren. She loved being a granny and spent many wonderful years volunteering at Bayview Elementary School where her children and grandchildren attended. Phyllis was a member of New Beginnings Ministries where she served with her husband for many years as pastor’s wife and children’s teacher.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM on December 16, 2022 at New Beginnings Ministries, 6850 Robinson Road W, Jacksonville, FL, 32220. Lunch will be served following the service.

Although I never met there mom l know she had to be a great lady. She raised great son’s Danny and Michael are among the best people I have had the privilege to know. My prayers and thoughts are with.

I so loved Granny Tatham! She was an awesome friend and volunteer at Bayview Elementary! She did not hesitate to help in anyway she could. I will always remember her kind heart and beautiful spirit. Rita Franklin

Grandma Tatham was such a beautiful woman. I volunteered with her at Bayview Elementary for many years. She would help with anything she was ask to do. She was one terrific lady to know. I loved her and have missed her dearly.
