William “WD” Daniel Brinson, 97, Bryceville FL, passed away peacefully on May 25,2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 7th 1926 in Metter, GA. He proudly served our country in the US Navy in World War II.
WD was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years, Gloria Faye Brinson, his parents Arthur and Eunice Brinson, sons Jeffery Brinson, Gary Brinson and Perry Brinson and granddaughter Jennifer Perry.
He is survived by his sons Danny (Willie) Brinson, Ricky (Brenda) Brinson and Keith (Connie) Brinson, sister Shirley Smith, a host of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was a plasterer by trade and a true tradesman. He was recognized for his work at The Florida Theatre, St. Augustine Lightner Museum and numerous projects throughout NE Florida. He was very meticulous in regard to his work.
WD had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a kind and gentle heart and loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved watching baseball and football among other sports.
A memorial service will be held Thursday June 6th at 11:00 AM at Old Plank Road Baptist Church 8964 Old Plank Road with pastor Chris White officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Fraser Funeral Home 8168 Normandy Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in honor of William D. Brinson to Haven Hospice Foundation.

Keith … Ron and I send our condolences to you and your family at this sad time. We enjoyed our chance encounter with you and your father that night not too long ago, when we had the pleasure of sharing a table with the two of you at the local seafood restaurant. I haven’t seen any of the family in several years. But, the memories I have growing up from the lake with grandma and papa Brinson are some of my most favorite memories. They are reunited again 🩷. Sending prayers in the coming days for all of you.
