Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Miller, 82, was called home to be with the Lord peacefully on October 24, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1942 to the late Myrtice Moore and the late Shafter Simmons.
She spent most of her life in Jacksonville, Fl, Homerville, Ga, and Nashville, Ga. She enjoyed life and loved to give. She was a caregiver by nature and showed the love of God to anyone that came in her path. She loved going to church, serving her Lord, and spending time with those that she loved. She was a homemaker and excellent cook.
Her life was comprised of: one daughter, Maria (Virgil) Palmer and two sons, Johnny (Karen) Miller, and the late Terry Daniel Miller; two granddaughters, Samantha (Brandon) Crum and Ashley (Dustin) Pierce; two grandsons, the late “Lil” Johnny, Robbie Dock Day; two great grandsons, Gage Pierce, Little John Beverley; eight great granddaughters: Bianca (Stephen) Deacon, Lexi Pierce, Charity Metts, Bailee (Patrick) Parr, Graceelynn Day, Kyleigh Howell, and Sailor Day; great great grands: Sage Deacon, Cooper Peek, Bowen Deacon, Tatum Metts, Zayne Parr, and Lance Parr. Adopted family that has a very special place in her heart was occupied by: Sharon (Willie) Cook, Leila, William, Matthew, Toy (Ronnie) Decker, and Kyoletia Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Miller, Sr, her son, Terry Daniel Miller, grandson, ‘Lil’ Johnny, her siblings, parents, numerous friends and families. To know her was to LOVE her and to know LOVE.

Beth was one of the best Christian women I have ever known. She served the Lord in many ways and I’m sure she is very happy now to be at eternal rest in her heavenly home. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
