Donald Gene Melton, Jr. age 60, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 22, 2024. He was born on October 9, 1964, in Melbourne, FL to the parents of Donald G. Melton, Sr. and Peggy Melton Farinas.
He was a gentle soul who is dearly loved by his family as well as the excellent staff that cared daily for him at Lake View Court in Orlando, FL. Donnie is preceded in death by his father, Donald Gene Melton, Sr. and a sister, Sophia Ann Tuliao. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Melton Farinas, four (4) sisters and four (4) brothers and their spouses, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 with Pastor Jason Brown of Black Pond Baptist Church officiating followed by interment in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Cemetery
