Diana McDonald Bretz, Age 65, of Jacksonville, FL went to be with Jesus on December 18, 2024. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on April 30,1959, to Larry and Rachel McDonald. Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. On December 20,1987 she married the love of her life, Keith Bretz, and would spend the next 37 years making memories that most can only dream about.
Diana loved going to the mountains every chance she had. The mountain view, the beautiful colors of the leaves changing in the fall, and the nature always brought her peace. It was where she found her love of bears. She loved her family most of all. She always made sure no matter what her family was taken care of. Diana was a beautiful soul that could put a smile on your face and bring peace to anyone who knew her.
Diana is survived by her husband Keith Bretz. Children Larry McDonald, Rachel Padgett, Shantell Padgett, and Kendra Hatfield (Michael). Along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Larry McDonald, mother, Rachel McDonald. Brothers, Raymond McDonald, Larry McDonald, and Jeffery (David) McDonald.
