Andrew Cecil McCauley III “Andy” age 72 went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 3, 2022

He is preceded in death by his father Andrew Cecil McCauley Jr., mother Mary Evelyn Strickland Jefferson, and his precious baby girl, Mary Virginia McCauley, “Ginny”., Also his beloved grandmother, Nettie Strickland “Nannie” and cousin, Ronnie Hurst.

He is survived by his sister Lenna McCauley Cooper of S.C., brother Terry Vernon Jefferson of Jacksonville, Fl., nephews Darrell and Chris Cooper of S.C., Tyler Jefferson of Fl., great nieces Tailore and Baylee Cooper of S. C., great nephew Christian Cooper of S. C., cousins Richard Wilson and wife Pat Wilson, Janet Pygott and husband Robert Pygott, Dianne Sandefur, along with many friends including; Dave, Neal, Gerry and Reggie, just to name a few. He considered his friends as part of his family. He also leaves behind his beloved Blue Tick hound dog “Cooney”.
Andy lived his life to the fullest. He never met a stranger. Andy had a great personality. He could light up a room by his very presence. His stories, smiles and laughter will never be forgotten. He loved to travel, boating, camping and reading. One of his favorite places was the farm in S.C., spending time with his brother Terry, his dog Cooney and friends.
Andy was a very giving and kind hearted person. He was loved by so many! He was a devoted son to his mother and took care of her until the day she died. He is going to be missed by so many.

There will be a gathering of friends and family to share memories of Andy following the service. Lillian’s Sports Bar

Andy was more like a brother than a cousin. We were always there for each other. I loved him dearly. He could make me laugh when I felt like crying. He had the best personality and the kindest heart. I will miss him so very much. These are just a few of the special memories I have of him when he was little. ♥️

Andy you will be missed. You always called me and said Jackie my lil chickadee I need your services. I loved your calls & the stories that you were loaded with. I will still be around for your brother TT. You were a friend but also family. Until I see you again. Love Jackie
