Horace “Buster” Young, age 73, passed away, October 31, 2022. Buster was born on May 10, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida to the parents of Frank and Alma Young. He worked as a Heavy Equipment operator for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alma Young, and a brother, Frankie Young. He is survived by his wife Christeen, 2 daughters, a son-in-law, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, a brother and 12 nieces and nephews.
He was a man’s man and loved his family beyond words. You never had to ask him to do anything twice. He was by far the hardest working man I’ve ever known. Life will not be the same without him. He was loved beyond measure and will be missed dearly!
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 followed by interment in Pinkston Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
