I have known Clay and Marie since I was as old as I could remember and that was 5. That’s when we started going to Blair Road Baptist. They were always special to me. He was such a sweet soul. He will forever hold a special place in my heart ❤️ Prayers for the family and Marie.

I learned early on what a special couple Clay and Marie were as we served together at Caleb/Blair Road Baptist Church. We served our Lord for many years as we celebrated, rejoiced, cried, and prayed together. Judy and I have many special memories together. I recall a long time ago we went to Silver Springs on a weekend get away. As we were swimming in the pool, Brother Clay decided to dive off the diving board. He was a little stand offish after that and stayed on the other side of the pool. Finally Marie said Clay get over here with the rest of us. He said I can’t. I lost my trunks when I dived off the diving board. We laughed so hard and Marie graciously retrieved his bathing suit.
