Derek Daughtry, 40 of Jacksonville, FL passed away early Wednesday morning, March 17, 2021. Born in Jacksonville, FL to Huey and Juanita on January 2, 1981. With being the only boy and having four girls, Derek was known as a momma’s boy. In 2015 Derek met his wife Jacee and fell in love. Derek was a family man, loved being with his kids and left a life long impression on his nieces and nephews, memories they will always cherish. Derek was good at stirring things up between his sisters but he was also someone you could turn to when you needed a laugh or someone to listen. Derek apologized whole heartly when he was wrong and found it easy to forgive those in his life. He believed in God and his family. Derek leaves behind his loving wife Jacee Daughtry and his six children; Christian Daughtry, Dayna Daughtry, Brianna Daughtry, Kiersten Daughtry, Nolan Daughtry, and Austin Fisher. His precious mother Juanita Neal and four sisters; Carolyn Griffin, Cindy Pride, Jodie Durrance, Dana Hubbard. Viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday evening, March 21, 2021, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221. Graveside Services will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 start at 2:00pm, at Trinity Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221.Pastor Shelia Houston and Pastor Jessie Parks will be officiating.
