Earl Lloyd Knowles passed away on January 18, 2022, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of cancer. He was 77 years old.
He was born to parents Richard and Margaret Knowles, on August 5, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida, who preceded him in death as well as three brothers Calvin, Alvah and Paul.
He married Linda, the love of his life, in 1966, who survives him. Earl is also survived by three children, Robert Knowles (Christina), Sheila Bishop (Darin) and Travis Knowles (Paul), as well as 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, brother Theodore Knowles (Eloise) and sister Helen Zulli (Mike) and many other family and friends.
He loved traveling and was a truck driver the majority of his life. After retiring in 2016, he spent his time enjoying life with Linda.
Earl was a great man of God and lived the life of a Christian every day. He was a deacon at New Beginning Ministries and enjoyed time with his church family and working for the Lord.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 with Rev. Ernest Tatham and Rev. Don Anderson officiating followed by interment in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Fraser Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service.
