Esther Alice DeMaggio, A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Aunt. Born January 27, 1940 to John Carter and Nellie Smith in Jacksonville, FL passed away February 9, 2021. Preceded in death by husband her Pete DeMaggio, Sr. She was a hard-working woman that worked alone side her husband in the tractor business for years. In the latter years they worked together raising and boarding Greyhounds in Dufuniak Springs, Fl. They retired and moved back to Glen St. Marys, Fl where they spent the rest of her days. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Pete DeMaggio, Jr. (Judith DeMaggio) and Keith Allen DeMaggio, Grandchildren, Shelli Savela (Kevin Savela) and Chad DeMaggio, Great Grandchildren, Shellicia Savela, Anthony Savela and Asher DeMaggio. Memorial services will be held, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32221 with Rev. John Cain officiating.
