Fred was more than a brother, he was my friend. Though we often went weeks without talking, I knew he was there for me when I needed him. His humor, love to share his faith. fish, and hunt will always be sweet memories for me. I love you Fred.

Fred was “one of My Boys” from 1970’s time together at VW&S; we remained in touch those many years. He was my “go-to” for many hours of biblical discussions sharing his burden for lost souls! R.I.P., dear Fred. You will be sorely missed. May God grant peace, comfort and strength to Jane abd Family in their loss!!!

Through Fred’s unwavering love for Christ, his burden for souls, and faithfulness to share the Good News, I gave my life to Jesus in 1976 and became one of Fred’s “kids”. To this day, he is fondly referred to as “Daddy Fred”. Fred’s love for the Lord encouraged me through these years and helped keep me on the right track. He loved his family; he loved people; he loved life. He loved sharing his life with others, always ready to help in time of need. Thank you for your concern for my soul; thank you for your friendship. You’re free at last and with your Lord, but you have left quite an empty space behind! RIP, Daddy Fred. (I’ll put the pickles on Mom’s table just for you!) May the Lord be with you and your family, Jane, during this time and the days ahead.

Fred will be missed by all who knew him. He was a good friend and we spent many hours hunting from Camp Blanding to the panhandle of Florida.
