Harold (Hal) Earl Hendrix

April 29, 1933~March 13, 2025

Harold (Hal) Earl Hendrix, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, at the age of 91. He was born in 1933 in Century, Florida, to Arthur and Bessie Hendrix.
Hal proudly served his country for 32 years in both the United States Air Force and the Florida Air National Guard. After his military service, he worked for Poultry Health Service and later as a jobsite superintendent for Paul Davis Systems.
Beyond his career, Hal was a man of many passions. A private pilot, he loved flying to the Bahamas with his wife, Rose Mary. He was also an avid fisherman, spending countless hours at his second home in Horseshoe Beach, Florida, where he found peace and joy on the water. Another of Hal’s greatest joys was his 1957 Ford Thunderbird, which he purchased brand new and cared for throughout his life.
Hal is survived by his loving wife, Rose Mary Hendrix; his son, Hunter Hendrix, and his wife, Maria Hendrix; and his cherished grandchildren, Asher and Alexa Hendrix. He and Rose Mary were longtime members of Westside Baptist Church, where they built lasting friendships and deepened their faith.
A graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park at 3:00 PM on March 21, 2025.
Hal will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, service, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
