Joann Frances Fowler age 81 passed away, March 18, 2024. Joanne was born on April 27, 1942, to the parents of Lonnie and Charlcie O’Steen in Irvine, Florida and has resided in Jacksonville for the last 8 years. She was a resident of Melrose, FL for ten years and also spent many years in Newberry, Fl. She was a small business owner and a certified nursing assistant for many years before she retired. She enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, watching the Florida Gators and Jaguars Football, Cooking, Danving and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Charlcie O’Steen, her first husband, Jimmy Fowler and her second husband, James Yeager, a daughter, Sandy Fowler, a brother, Kenneth O’Steen and her two sisters, Dot Fowler and Barbara Douglas.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Huntley (Kenneth), two sisters, Eloise Lewis and Betty Osborn, three grandchildren, Grace Russell, James Huntley and Jonathan Huntley, and two great grandchildren, Oakley Russell and Millie Russell and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 2:00pm in Forest Grove Cemetery in Alachua, FL.
