Jonathan Broward Sistrunk age 35, of Orange Park, Florida, unexpectedly went Home to be with The Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 10,1989 to Ronald Sistrunk and Terri (Pace) Sistrunk. He lived in the Jacksonville and Orange Park area most of his life.
Jonathan attended Orange Park High School, graduated from the University of North Florida with a Masters of Accountancy, and was employed by Adecco Company as a Senior Accountant. He enjoyed Xbox gaming, hunting and fishing with his dad, country music concerts with his mom, and collecting Legos, lapel pins and Pop Funko’s. He was an avid reader just like his Pap (Grandfather Pace). Pap’s journal entry from the day of his birth nicknamed him “JB”, a moniker that stuck with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents John & Betty Pace and Broward & Sallie Mae Sistrunk. Survivors include his parents as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jonathan loved his family and was a devoted son and compassionate friend who will be missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Orange Park Church of the Nazarene, 3212 Moody Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32065 with Pastor Crystal Riner officiating.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

I was so shocked and sorry to hear about Jonathan’s passing. My condolences to his family and friends. I worked closely with Jonathan for two years to try and learn everything he knew (still had a lot to learn). No matter the situation though, he was always there to make sure I was feeling comfortable and kept me from stressing too much. He was always so chill, and ready to talk about anything. Going to miss our chats about music and tattoos. I finally tried PDQ, and man what I wouldn’t give to let you know what I think, haha. Miss you already.

Jonathan was one of my favorite friends and people I’ve ever met. He was so thoughtful and was always showing me music and stuff he was interested in. He had the best humor and when I tell you we laughed… it was some of the hardest I have ever laughed in my life. Some of my favorite laughs were over breakfast. My forever breakfast buddy.<3 To Ron & Terri, my deepest condolences for your loss. You raised such a good, sweet guy and he is sorely missed.

Jon trained me as a fixed asset accountant and we enjoyed 6 years of colleague camaraderie. He was always quiet, thoughtful, patient, and absolutely brilliant. I will miss his humor and the way he understood mine. We lost him too soon which will stand to remind me to cherish my adult children every day that they are on this earth. God speed, Jonathan.
