Joyce, my friend for 50 years, will be sorely missed daily. We used to talk on the phone at least twice daily. We took short trips to St Augustine, Mt Dora, and to Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina, over the years back when we were both younger. She was the best friend I ever had and was the kindest person with a big heart.

Joyce was my mother’s first cousin. Her mother and my grandfather were siblings. I remember Joyce when we all lived in Portsmouth. I’m sorry to hear of her passing. My sincere sympathy and condolences to her family.
