Kenneth Earl Hawn, a retired psychologist, pastor and missionary from Columbus Indiana, was a resident of Jacksonville, Fl for 37 years. He passed away on November 30, 2024.
Kenneth is survived by his sister Brenda Hawn Rominous, and his children, Bradley J Hawn (Delores), Rachel Hawn Canaday (Jody), Rebecca Jean Anderson (Kevin).
Grandchildren David Hawn, Sarah Miller, Heather Hawn, Christine Lee, Kimberly Walker, Alexander Lee, Brian Dreher, Noah, Dreher, and great grandchildren, Andrew Hawn, Adelina Hawn, Ethan Hawn, Caleb Miller, Chloe Miller, Clayton Walker.
Kenneth was born in Seymour Indiana on August 8, 1942 to Kenneth and Lois Hawn. He graduated from Columbus Sr High School in 1960. He graduated from God’s Bible School and College Seminary in 1974 and received his master’s degree from Liberty University.
He married Catherine Bailey on May 19,1962 in Columbus, Indiana.
Kenneth’s life was centered on the ministry and mental health counseling. He and Catherine served in two different missionary assignments in the Philippines.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, Fl, 32210 from 10:30 – 11:30am, followed by a graveside service at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32218 at 2:30pm with Rev. Ray Mayfield officiating. Flowers may be sent to Fraser Funeral Home 8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32221.
