Linda Beth Westberry, 80, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on March 29, 2024. Linda, affectionately known as Nana, was born on June 27, 1943 in Birch River, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Westberry, her parents, Delta and Argil Frame, and her sister, Beverly Prescott.
Linda is survived by her children, Duncan Westberry, Tonya Westberry, and Jason Westberry, her sister, Delores Boley, as well as her grandchildren Lacey Franks, Tristan Berger, Jeremy Westberry, Kathryn Higginbotham, Jillian Westberry, and her eight great-grandchildren.
Linda was known for her kindness and caring nature, always putting her family first. She was a devoted member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs football team, traveling, sewing, playing piano, singing in the choir, and playing cards with her girlfriends.
A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, April 6th at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church. We ask attendees to wear red or Georgia Bulldogs apparel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda’s honor to the Parkinson’s Foundation (parkinson.org) or Community Hospice & Palliative Care (thefoundationcares.org).
The Fraser Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

I remember when she would visit Hyde Grove weekly in costume and go to the classrooms! All the kids were always so excited to see her!!

Though I never met Linda, I know her beautiful daughter Tonya and granddaughter Kathryn. She raised such a lovely daughter. I’m sure she was a special woman and will be greatly missed.
