Donald Wayne Fogle, 83, passed away on March 5, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born on October 20, 1941, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Wayne dedicated his life to service, family, and a passion for craftsmanship. He spent 30 years in Naval aviation, excelling in aviation maintenance as a flight engineer, aviation maintenance administrator, and instructor of aviation maintenance administration. After retiring from the military, Wayne pursued entrepreneurship by starting a small business specializing in computer sales, service, and programming. His expertise later led him to serve as an IT administrator for both the Baker County and Duval County school districts.
Beyond his professional achievements, Wayne found joy in working with his hands. He had a deep love for classic cars—especially Corvettes—and enjoyed woodworking. His enthusiasm for the water was evident through his love of boating, water skiing, and jet skiing.
Wayne was a loving husband and father who was known for being good-spirited, easygoing, hardworking, and always full of good advice. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Connie Fogle; sons Marc and Steve Fogle; and grandchildren Roy Rasor, Vanessa Lambert, Samantha Williams, Jessica Swanson, Austin Fogle, Madison Fogle, and Caleb Fogle. Wayne was preceded in death by his daughter Jean Marie Rasor.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
