April 13, 1934~February 12, 2024

Heaven gained an angel when our mother Nancy Mae Masser passed away on Monday February 12, 2024. She passed away peacefully in the quiet of the morning, after the family had time to say goodbye and tell her we all plan to see her again. She was born in Sanford, Florida April 13, 1934
Nancy led a very full life. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Filling her life with Family, Eastern Star, Church, Girl Scout Leader, and in the choir. Mom could sing! We went to all the parades in Niagara Falls to cheer our fathers Navy marching band. We went on so many camping trips and every function possible. She was an excellent sewer and taught us how to sew so much of our clothes. She loved baking and started decorating cakes as a hobby that gave her a great reputation in town. She and Paul loved dressing up in Renaissance time period clothing (that she made) walking the streets of St. Augustine. They were even given the title of “King and Queen of St. Augustine.” She was always there when you needed her. With a blanket and her love, she could make any situation better.
Nancy Mae Maready Masser leaves behind two brothers: Charles and Harold Maready, One son and four daughters: Fonda Dillard, Linda Zilla, Janice Miles, Karl Masser, and Andrea Hylton. 9 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren.

My condolences to all Nancy’s family. I was able to give her a ride to church on occasion and was so impressed by how close she was with her neighbors. They seemed to look out for her when a “strange car” (mine!) pulled up in the driveway. She was so proud of her children and loved how her girls took care of her. She touched many lives and will be missed.
