Pamela Johnson, 78, of Jacksonville Florida passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was the wife of Ralph Johnson. Born in Baltimore Maryland and raised in Pawtucket Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Brett.
She graduated from Jacksonville University in 1970 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts. After graduation, she met and married her husband, Ralph. The couple made their home in Jacksonville, where they began raising their family. She spent the majority of her professional life in the insurance industry, where she built a long and successful career before retiring in 2011.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Ralph of 49 years; her son, Ryan Johnson and her daughter, Meghan Traylor and her husband, James; four grandchildren, Cash Johnson, Evie Johnson, Maelyn Traylor and Grady Traylor; and her sister Leslie Brett.
Her funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, starting with visiting hours from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Historical Church, 4214 Loretto Rd, Jacksonville, and then burial at St. Jospeh’s Cemetery immediately following. Relatives and friends are invited.
