Robert A. Carroll of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully at his home in on June 28, 2024.
Bob was born April 7th, 1931, to the late Anthony and Teresa Carroll in Quincy, MA. He is survived by his brothers: Richard Carroll, Anacortes WA, Dennis Carroll, Newport Beach, CA, his sister Ann Owen, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and several nieces and nephews, as well as his devoted companion Marie Easton of 44 years and her son Bryan Keith Taylor, Jr. He was predeceased by his brother Terrence Carroll, Hanover, MA.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was part owner along with his brothers of Carroll the Mover, Quincy, MA. After moving to Miami, FL in the 60’s, he worked for Withers Van Lines and was part owner of Shibui Restaurant in Miami. After retirement he worked for Pat Salmon Trucking well into his 80’s. Bob’s passion was airplanes and flew often when he owned his own plane. We will miss his wisdom and Irish wit.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with with Bob for many years at Withers Van Lines in Miami. Bob was a true professional and always went that extra step to be sure the customer was happy with their move. Always ready with a smile and a happy attitude he would brighten your day with his greeting. He will be missed by all who knew him.
