Robert Herbert Weiland, III
On December 31, 2022, sadly, our cherished son, beloved brother, adored father and treasured friend Robert, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by his young son Zayden Weiland (mother Jamie Griffin), his parents, Robert Weiland (Sandy) and Cathy Northup (Kenny), his sisters Krissy Weiland-Nettles (Darren) and Leslie Rosas (Walter), brothers Jimmy McNamara (Aimee), Eric Halveland (Carrie), many nieces and nephews and a multitude of family and friends. Robert also leaves behind his most dearest friend, Kim Turner.
He was born in Jacksonville, but lived his adult life on the road as a long distance truck driver. He enjoyed visiting new places and taking photos to show his family and friends. He was a free spirit who loved life and wasn’t afraid of a good protest. He was a non-judgmental soul who adored animals. He also was a huge fan of wrestling and watched it with his sister, mom and stepdad frequently. Robert was also a proud tissue and organ donor. He was loved and will be missed deeply.
A Celebration of his life and birthday will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 12:00pm in Encounter Ministries, 1241 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, FL 32065. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to your local animal shelter.

We known each other for years on the internet and sadly never got to meet in person it breaks my heart to hear you’re gone but at least you’re not suffering no more you always knew how to make me laugh and you were such a good dad you are a caring soul rest in peace my dear friend

Robert came into my life when I was 15 years old. I’ll be 45 in October. 30 years is a long time. Robert was a special soul. I highly value my friendship with him. Robert lived with me and he lived with my parents for Many Years. I brought him into our family and he became family to us. I am lost to know he is no longer a part of our world anymore. He had a way of leaving an impact on your life. Robert will ALWAYS be Remembered and Missed Dearly.
