May 20, 2005~May 19, 2024

Our beloved son, brother and friend Ryan Parker Chirico tragically left us on May 19th, 2024. Deeply loved and missed by his family and friends.

Ryan’s passion for Jesus, Basketball, & music touched all who knew him. Ryan was a wonderful, caring person who lit up any room he was in. His charismatic personality from the time he could speak was a joy to be around. He was someone you could have a deep intellectual conversation with. He shared his deepest thoughts and challenged anything he did not agree with. If you knew Ryan you’d know he was always right. He had a big heart and was a simple young man. He just wanted people around him to be happy. He had an impact on many lives and we hope he knows how much he was loved by everyone.

With Ryan’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his beautiful red hair and smile. He will forever remain in our hearts. We’re thankful for the almost 19 years we had with him, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents, sisters, and brother.

Ryan we will always carry your memory in our hearts. I’ll leave you with Ryan’s favorite bible verse

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you send a donation to Old Plank Baptist Church in honor of Ryan Chirico for youth camp, something that was close to his heart.

I didn’t have the privilege to know Ryan very well but what I do know is that he was very loved! Though your time on earth wasn’t as long as your family would have liked our Heavenly Father was ready for you to be there! We can all rest assure knowing that you made it and that one day your family will see you soon! We don’t always understand God’s plan and why these things happen but our Heavenly Father does and we must trust that he works all things for our good!

My love and prayers go out to you in your time of loss and God be with you!!! Even though I wouldn’t see him in the halls next year, I was hoping to see him attending basketball games next year. I remember when he did a significant play on the court he would make his excitement well know. I had him for homeroom and 1st period last year, and I noticed a completely different man this year, he had grown significantly in his walk with Christ. I know he is with our Lord. God bless you and again, praying for you. Aaron Tison
