Sandra D. Montgomery, age 74, was born in Jacksonville, Florida on June 12, 1947. She entered onto her heavenly home on July 31, 2021
She is preceded in death by her son, John Paul Montgomery and her mother and father, Milton and Gloria Davis.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dr. John W. Montgomery, senior pastor of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, three wonderful sons, Mark, Andy and David, a daughter-in-law, Angela (Tobin) Montgomery, a sister, Gayle Moody, a brother, Mike Davis and her grandson, Nicholas Kilpatrick.
Sandra grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from Leon High School. She received Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She loved to sing about Jesus and was an active member at Cedar Creek Baptist Church until her recent illness.
Sandra has served with various ministries including Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Florida Baptist Convention, the Jacksonville Baptist Association, Central Baptist Church and Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Her servant spirit made her a valued member of those organizations.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
