In Loving Memory of Sandra (Sandy) Solesbee Jolly
Sandra (Sandy) Solesbee Jolly, beloved wife, sister, and friend, departed from this world on December 13, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 9, 1963, Sandy’s life was a testament to love, faith, and unwavering dedication.
Sandy was preceeded in death by her mother, Anna Beck, her father, John Solesbee, and her brother, John Robert (Bobby) Solesbee. She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Todd Jolly, who stood by her side through thick and thin.
A proud graduate of Baldwin High School, class of 1981, Sandy was a dedicated member of the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Normandy Blvd in Jacksonville, FL. She served as a Sacristan and volunteered on the Cleaning Committee for 15 years, leaving an indelible mark on the community. Sandy also selflessly dedicated her time as a Eucharistic Minister, administering the body and blood of Christ.
Professionally, Sandy worked at Kenco Window for seven years, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. However, her impact extended beyond the workplace as she volunteered for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) during political sessions. In recognition of her exceptional dedication to the Labor Movement, Sandy was honored with the title of honorary member of the IBEW, a cherished acknowledgment of her tireless efforts.
Sandy faced the challenges of Crones disease throughout her life with remarkable strength, always putting the needs of others before her own. Despite her health struggles, she dedicated 34 years to caring for her family and those around her.
A woman of deep compassion, Sandy loved to donate her time to the church and various charities. Her green thumb was evident in her beautiful yard, where she lovingly tended to her flowers. Sandy’s culinary skills were second to none, and she found joy in spoiling her beloved dogs—Buck, Betsy, Daisy, Ernie, and Dottie.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Frazer Funeral Home on Normandy Blvd. from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Deacon Jack will provide a funeral service at 6pm. I was very sad to hear about the passing of Sandy and that I never got to visit her at home. One of my fondest memories is being an Altar Server beside her. I will miss your long beautiful blonde hair and your friendship. RIP Sandy. Fly high among the angels. 😥💔😇🙏🕯🕊
