Thomas Ralph James, age 89, passed away, Nov. 15, 2024. “Ralph, as was known to all his friends was born on March 17, 1935 in Gordo, Alabama to the parents of William Lester and Pearl James. Ralph worked in the Food Service Industry for many years and enjoyed being outdoors farming, gardening or playing golf. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends,
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Betty Fay James and is survived by his son, Michael James (Cheryl) and a daughter, Kathy McDowell (Tom),two brothers, Clayton and Paul James and a sister, Joyce Oglesby and 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024 at 1:00pm in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Fraser funeral home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32221 Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024 from 11:30am -12:30pm.

This man came in my life 25 years ago. This man showed me what a daddy was and I loved him as my daddy. We had many laughs and many talks. I will cherish all my memories of us. May you watch over all of us daddy and I love you
