Celebration of Life For Alice Anna Springer
Fraser Funeral Home, Friday 19th of May 2023, 3:00 PM

Alice Anna Springer, 76, of Hoosick Falls, NY, went home to be with her Lord on May 15th, 2023.

Alice was born on May 24th, 1946 to Ralph Gilbert Granger and Florence May Granger in Hoosick Falls, NY being the ninth child of twelve. She attended Hoosick Falls School.

Alice married the love of her life, Charles Springer, April 18th 1964, in Hoosick Falls, New York. They soon moved away due to Charles being a member of the Navy. During this time, they welcomed six children, to which was her most treasured occupation: being a mother and eventually grandmother and great grandmother.

After Charles’s last assignment, they resided in Orange Park, FL. During this time, Alice opened their home to countless friends and family, welcoming them with open arms. She raised her children and many other children of the community through babysitting, as she considered all family.

Alice’s most cherished activity included spending time with her husband in the garden, watching over him and admiring all the flowers he had planted. Her favorite thing to do was sit on the porch at the end of the day with Chuck, and reminisce. Alice was very famous for her trinkets, as she accepted each and every gift given to her from her family. She enjoyed playing Aggravation – the nice, friendly kind – even though sometimes she would forget. In New York, she enjoyed going to Bingo with her mother-in-law and other family members that would meet them there. We will always remember her when we look at a snowman figurine, butterflies, anything Christmas or Pioneer Woman, and especially anything with the color blue. If you came to her house, you could find her sitting in her rocking chair with a Hallmark movie, Little House on the Prairie (Prairie Girls), The Waltons (Mountain Men) or Murder She Wrote playing. Nothing gave Alice more joy than quietly sitting in the corner, soaking in every minute with her family as they spent time together. She deeply loved all of her family.

Alice treasured family more than anything, especially her husband, Charles Springer. He was her best friend, her walking buddy, and her everything. Their love gave them six children, which includes;

• Charles Jr. and Bonnie Springer
• William Springer
• Hazel and Todd Kirby
• Andy and Angela Springer
• Douglas Springer
• David and Erin Springer

She left behind her 14 grandchildren; Erica, Matthew, Justin, Katilyn, Sara, Cassandra, Morgan Alice, Brennan, Brian, Haley, Alex, Christian, Brandon, and Christopher. There was a special place in her heart for all of the 13 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Eric, Emma, Jason, Madison, Bentley, Braydon, Gwen, Jackson, Erik, August Stephen, and Jeremiah.

Her three sisters, Florence, Stella, and Norma will also miss her greatly.

Alice is embraced in the arms of Jesus as she became a Christian at a young age. She attended Hoosick Falls Baptist with Pastor Dale Hall in New York and watched online The Church of Eleven 22 with Pastor Joby Martin in Florida.

She is now in Heaven rejoicing with her parents and eight siblings.
