Audrey (‘Bunny’) Olena Williams Wilkinson, 96, died at home in Clay Hill, Florida, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Born July 12, 1923, in Esto (Holmes County), Florida, Bunny is the daughter of Dock Stanley Williams and Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Moody Williams and sister of D. V. Williams. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Marion Wilbur Wilkinson, and two daughters, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Wilkinson Dyal (Mrs. Charles S. Dyal) of Vidalia, Georgia, and Nancy Anne Wilkinson Scott (Mrs. Steven R. Scott) of Clay Hill, Florida, and is ‘Grandbunny’ to 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Bunny graduated in 1948 from Florida State College for Women (FSU) and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, later named to the Order of the Rose. Bunny, a long-time resident of St. Marys, Georgia, was active in the Presbyterian Women of the Church, the Woman’s Club and Girl Scout leadership. After moving to Clay Hill in 1974, she was a member of Orange Park Presbyterian Church, and later of Riverside Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Bunny will be remembered for many things, among them her love and care of family, her sense of artistry applied to all she did, and her wise counsel and encouragement of others. Services for Bunny, officiated by The Reverend Dr. Carol DiGiusto of Riverside Presbyterian Church, will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2020, in the sanctuary of Long Branch Baptist Church (5550 Long Branch Cemetery Road, Jacksonville, FL 32234) at 1 p.m., with viewing at the church from 12-1 p.m. A graveside service in Long Branch Cemetery will follow.
