Barbara Helen Corris Macclenny Florida Barbara Helen (Lukos) Corris, 87, passed away on January 3, 2021 after a very brief illness with her daughters by her side. Barbara was born in Waterbury Connecticut on September 21, 1933 and grew up in Watertown Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Simon Lukosevicius and Helen (Hymel) Donston and the wife of the late Frank J. Corris (2011). She was employed by Watertown manufacturing until it closed in 1970 and then continued to work independently in housekeeping services. In 1995 she and Frank retired and moved to Titusville Florida and then settled in Macclenny Florida. While retired, she loved spending time with her husband Frank of 57 years fishing and shrimping, caring for their dogs who were all rescues, restoring and showing old cars and volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Barbara lead a very active and independent life up until her final days. She exercised every day, enjoyed going to yoga class, and swimming at the local YMCA. She is survived by her two daughters Charlotte Corris of Macclenny Florida, Barbara Galloway and friend Claude Rackliff of Jacksonville Florida. Three grandsons, Jason Dockery of Jacksonville Florida, Bryan Dockery of Munford Tennessee, Stephen Kuenzi of Jacksonville Florida, and a great grandson Tristan Dockery of Munford Tennessee.
