Barry H. Schemer, age 79, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023 with his loving wife and son by his side. Barry was born in Jacksonville on June 25, 1944.
He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He began his career with The City of Jacksonville Water Division on November 21, 1966, and retired after 30 years on January 11, 1997.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Linda Schemer, his son David Schemer, daughter-in-law Brandee Schemer, his grandchildren Brandon Schemer and Bradlee Schemer, his brother Melvin (Virginia) Schemer and grand dogs Sandee and Buddy Schemer.
Barry loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held on December 21, 2023, between 6pm to 8pm at Fraser Funeral Home on 8168 Normandy Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida.
