ADC Billy B. Brown, Jr. USN (Ret.), age 78 passed away January 3, 2021. Billy was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on August 7, 1942 to the parents of Billy Bryan Brown Sr. and Lura Nuckols. Billy was a retired US Navy Chief having served in the Vietnam War and he also was retired from the USPS. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy B. Brown Sr. and his mother, Lura K. Nuckols and a sister, Carolyn Ashworth. He is survived by his wife, Linda C. Brown, his children, Lucille Brown, Donald Thomas, Teresa Lenhart (Dave), Dave Thomas (Pam), Hannah Williams. His grandchildren; Laura Lenhart, Adam Thomas, Bryan Thomas (Jenna) and Nick Thomas; Sisters; Susan Douglas, Roberta Nichols, and a brother, Paul Nichols (Corpus Christi, TX. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 2:30pm in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 with US Navy Honors. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to, Navy Marine Corp. Relief Society at NMCRS.org donate Fair Winds and Following Seas

Mr. Bill was a humble helpful soul that assisted me by picking up my son (George) from school… Mr Bill would place a chair in his garage for my upcoming visit with him and Linda. He was such a gentleman. Miss you Mr. Bill
