Billy Richard Woodard, 85, of Jacksonville, Florida went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2023. He was born on November 3, 1937, in Philcampbell, Alabama, to the Late Mae and Jack Woodard.
Bill was a great man of God, who loved his family, friends, and community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his loving children, daughters Carolyn Renee Buckner (James “Bobby”), Reta Hanna (Penny) and his son Richard Woodard (Stephanie). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents, Mae and Jack Woodard, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and his granddaughter, Angel Renee Buckner.
Bill’s family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring his life at his place of worship that he called home, Grace Baptist Church, Tullahoma Tennessee, where he was a member for over 30 years. While living in Jacksonville, he attended Trinity Baptist Church and Westside Baptist church.

A memorial service will take place at Grace Baptist Church on November 11,2023. Visitation with family and friends will be from 9:00 to 11:00. The service will begin at 11:00am.
