Bobby Joe Jones of Jacksonville, FL went to be with the Lord, peacefully on May 29th, 2020 at the age of 80. He was born in Damascus, Georgia and moved to Jacksonville in 1956 and resided in Callahan, FL since 1985. Bobby completed his high school education in the Army and attained his associates in Business Administration at the College of Hillsborough in Tampa, FL. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed for 33 years at Jacksonville Ford Tractor, as well as Duval Tractor for several years, as the Parts Manager. Bobby was truly one of kind. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and papa with a great sense of humor. He was a champion at the game of pool and enjoyed playing in tournaments. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Jones of 60 years, his two children Kenneth Jones( wife Deborah), Shirley Krausse( husband Richard), and his sister Betty. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Lisa (husband Austin), Allen, Brittani, Tyffany, Cathy, Richard Jr. and great granddaughter, Avis Rose.
Bobby will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery. A viewing for immediate family will be held at Fraser Funeral Home on Thursday, June 4th, 2020 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. For
