It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Caitlynn Nicole Sowders and her unborn son Ricky. Caitlynn Nicole Sowders was 18 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. Ricky’s father was Christopher Palmer. Our Caity Did it, passed away July 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Hughes/Sowders. Caitlynn is survived by her father, Richard Allen Sowders, aunt, Cathy Atkinson, brother, Matthew Joseph Pence, and sisters; Cynthia Braswell and Christina Ann Pence. Our Caity Did it was loved by everyone. Her infectious smile would brighten up a room when she walked in. She loved her family and held her friends as family too. She had a very strong and loving relationship with her father Richard. Caitlynn loved her fur babies, Cash and Cleo. She groomed dogs at Marietta Animal Hospital. She loved grooming dogs and was learning to be a veterinarian technician. She loved her job very very much. The world is a little darker and the beach a little less sunny with the unexpected departure od Caitlynn.
The viewing and funeral service will be at Fraser Funereal Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221. The viewing will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 11:00am till 1:00pm and the funeral will be Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00pm.
