It is with great sadness that the family of Carol May Sizemore, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, announces her passing on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in her home at the age of 82. Carol was born on March 16, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana. On August 2, 1956, she married the love of her life, Paul. Together, they raised two sons, William and Marion, and one daughter Debbie. They formerly resided in Indianapolis and Terre Haute until Jacksonville became their home. Carol will be remembered as a bright, shining light to all who knew and loved her. She was known for her kind, compassionate spirit and her heart of gold. Carol loved to play bingo with her buddies and loved to watch Jaguar games. She loved her husband, family and children and she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her mother Caroline J. Lamb, sister Georgia “Pister” (Larry) Henry, her daughter Debbie, and granddaughter Katie. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 64 years, Paul, her children Will and Marion (Loretta), by her brother Richard (Valerie) Lamb and sister Doris Colvin. Carol will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Shafter, Paul, Andy, Steven (Kim), CJ, Brandi (Lance), Dustin (Brianna), Zackary, Tiffany (Dillon) and Michael (Leslie). Carol will also be forever remembered by her numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held Saturday, November 14th, at 3:00pm, at the Sizemore Pond, 1020 Tim Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220.
