On December 31, 2021, Charles Prevatt died in Gainesville, Florida. He was 85 years old.
Charles is survived by his nieces and nephews, Linda, Rick, Wanda (Bill), Regina, Alan (Renee), and Mike (Gail). He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte. Also, his parents, Sylvester and Elizabeth Prevatt, and siblings Les, Ross, Lula Bell, Daisy, Truman, Jenny, and Ruby.
Charles was born in Lawtey, Florida and worked many years as a roofer in Jacksonville, Florida. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling and playing softball. He still enjoyed fishing when he had an opportunity to go. He liked to watch college sports, football and Nascar.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
