Debra Ann Pennabaker

September 29, 1955~October 11, 2023

Debra Ann Pennabaker, 68, passed away peacefully at home October 11, 2023.
Debra was born September 29, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida to her parents Annie Mae Salmon and Marvin Chester Wasdin. Debra graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1973. She retired from management in the restaurant industry and was enjoying her time being a grandma.
Though Debra loved going to the beach, and watching shows and movies; one of her favorite roles was being a mom and grandma. She treasured her time she spent with her child and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them grow and cherished all the memories they made together. The second role she cherished was being a mom to her fur babies Rocky and Chance.
Debra enjoyed spending time with her cousins and family growing up. She liked to tell stories about fond memories she shared with others. She continued to show love and care for those around her through life. Debra will always be remembered for being a kind and sweet soul. We could not have asked for a better mom, grandma, friend or person and she will be missed dearly. Her memories will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
Debra was preceded in death by her husband John Pennabaker, her son Donald Rhodaback Jr., her father Marvin Wasdin, her mother Annie Salmon, and brother Marvin Ray. She is survived by her granddaughter Lexus (James) Hannah and great grandchildren Kason Hannah and Emma Hannah.
