Demita Marie Nolan, age 57 was a caring wife, mother, grandmother (NanNan) and friend. She left this world on November 9, 2022. She was born to Robert Rex Edwards, Sr. (Bob) and Effa Jean Edwards (Jean) on February 2, 1965, in Carlisle, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Steven Wayne Nolan.
She is survived by her parents, of Florahome; Bob and Jean Edwards; brother, Robert Rex Edwards, Jr. (Tanya LeBlanc), of Jacksonville; sister, Jelana Edwards Boree (Henny Boree), of Jacksonville; fiancé, Brian Barnidge, of Green Cove Springs; daughters, Jodi Lynn Ganion (Joshua Lee), of Keystone Heights, Mindi Marie Meyer (Matthew Alexander), of Macclenny; and grandchildren, Katlynn Nicole Johnson, Steven Nicholas Nolan, Logan Joshua Ganion, Lilly Ann Ganion, Justin Lane Ganion, Jordan Michael Peterson, Mackenzie Riann Padgett and Cooper Wayne Meyer.
Demita enjoyed concerts, vacationing at the beach, and loved everyone she met unconditionally. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She has touched many lives with her compassion, caring, and selfless ways. She will be deeply missed by us all, but she is now whole and free, holding the hand of her loving husband, smiling down on all those they loved together!
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2:00pm in Nolan Ridge Cemetery.

My sweet sister Demita. I am so lost already without you! I have been thinking about all the things I wish we would have done together like going on a vacation somewhere where you could look out at the beach! You would always say ok sister when I feel better we will do that! We never did do that and now you are on the beautiful shores of Heaven with all our loved ones celebrating with Jesus! I will forever be grateful for all the 57 years I did have with you on this earth and so many great memories we made together! I will hold you close to my heart everyday until I see you again!

My mom was my best friend I really don’t know how my life is going to be without her but I’m so happy she gets to be with the lord and my daddy I know she’s smiling ear to ear and giving my dad many many pugers from all of us here.Cant wait till one day when I’m with them again. Love u mom you are going to be so missed.
