Donna Ann Root was born July 24, 1953 to Barbara Ann Loose and Joseph Donald Loose (Don) at St. Luke’s hospital in Jacksonville Florida. Those who knew and loved Donna would describe her as witty, strong willed, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a huge fan of the New York Yankees. Donna had a love for reading, classic movies, and music of all kinds. Donna passed away on January 11, 2020 at Acosta Rua Community Hospice on Ramona Boulevard in Jacksonville Florida. She was preceded in death by her father Donald, her mother Barbara and her husband Hobert Wayne Root. She is survived by her children Melissa Snyder (Michael), Shawn Ostwald (Jamie), Joshua Ostwald, Jacqueline Root, and Samantha Root and by her sisters Deborah Karolewicz (Brian) and Bobbie Baity (John) and she is also survived by eight grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 12 o’clock at Evergreen cemetery in Saint Augustine Florida For Service Details Evergreen Cemetery, St. Augustine, Florida
