Edward Walton Thomas III, age 46, passed away October 16, 2022. Edward was born in Jacksonville, FL on December 9, 1975 to the parents of Edward W. Thomas, Jr. and Marlene Collins Thomas.
He was an Electrician by trade and raised in Whitehouse, FL and went to Baldwin High School. Everyone called him “Fast Eddie” and he LOVED raising his Gamecock’s, Still Hunting, fishing, racing and building his go karts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Thomas, Jr., his mother, Marlene Brown and a sister, Andrea Wills.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Thomas, a son, Edward Thomas IV, his grandson, Davon Edward Green and a nephew, Matthew Wills. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kristy Lampercht (Jasmine, Ashley and Justin); and his aunt, Joy Thomas, his uncle, Jay Thomas and his stepdad, Robert Brown.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32221 on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm.
