Elizabeth Pauline Roark was born in Jacksonville FL. and passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Otis and Hester Newsom, brother William (Bill) Newsom, sister Mary (Skip) Johnson, and husband of 30 years Timothy F. Roark Jr.
Elizabeth is survived by her two sons, Timothy F. Roark III (Regina) and Frank W. Roark (Amie); brothers, Frank Newsom (Pam), Otis Newsom Jr (Norma), James Newsom (Betty); grandchildren, Nickie, Mackenzie (Dillon), Taylor (Garrett), Molly, Bubba, Frankie (Hailey), Garrett, Wyatt, and Jordan; four great grandsons, Bryson, Lucas, Chase, and Rowan; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield where she retired after 35 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to her grandkids baseball games, cooking for everyone, and enjoying a sweet treat from Dunkin Donuts.
A viewing will be held at Fraser Funeral Home, 8168 Normandy Blvd. at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 26, 2024. The funeral service will follow immediately after at 11:30 AM. The graveside service will be held at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd. at 1:00 PM.
