Esther Joy Truax

June 30, 1986~December 10, 2021

Esther Joy Truax, 35, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 10, 2021. Esther is preceded in death by her father, Arthur David Truax Sr.

Esther is survived by her five children: Gavin, Connor, Alyssa, Alexa, Dillon; her mother, Nancy(Jim); sisters Rachel(Donald), Candace, Christal(Kevin), Caroline, and her brother, David; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Esther was born in Ferkessedougou, Ivory Coast, West Africa where her parents were missionaries. She had the bluest eyes and the sweetest smile. She was always a happy child befitting to her middle name, Joy. She never met a stranger, never held a grudge, and had the most contagious laugh. Esther was a natural artist. She had a passion for writing and wrote many poems. She also liked to draw, dance and sing gospel hymns with her dad.

Esther accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She didn’t shy away from telling people about the hope she had in Jesus.

Esther chose to be an organ donor in 2018, which is truly a selfless act. As we mourn her loss, several people will celebrate their new chance at life because of that decision.

Esther loved her children very much and cherished every moment she got to spend with them. Her children, mom, sisters and brother grieve with hope, because this is not the end.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
